The learning which goes on in Pre-school forms the essential basis for later studies in school and beyond. Children in Preschool learn:
*To develop social skills
* To express themselves through a large variety of creative artwork and imaginative role play
* To use language to communicate with adults and other children
* To listen and respond as part of a group
* To experience stories, poems and music
* To recognise the use of print to carry information, stories and ideas
* To compare objects/materials and to make predictions about them based on experience
* To create and recognise patterns and sequences
* To understand simple ideas of length, weight and volume
